Leif Hetland

Leif Hetland is a seasoned web developer and educator with extensive experience in software development and teaching. Currently serving as Lead Instructor at 2U, Hetland leads a 12-week Coding Bootcamp at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on various technologies, including JavaScript, databases, server-side development, and project management tools. Prior experience includes roles as a Web Developer for independent contractors and nonprofits, a Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Software Developer at FortyAU, where Hetland contributed to numerous projects across different frameworks and technologies. Hetland's career began in the hospitality industry with front desk roles, eventually pivoting to software development, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Alabama.
