Martha Firehock

Martha Firehock is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in internship placement and contract management, currently serving as the Senior Director of Contracts and Placement at 2U since November 2016. In this role, Martha oversees the Contracts Team and is responsible for the legal administration of University Affiliation Agreements for clinical interns. Previous positions include Director of Placement at 2U, where Martha managed a team for a portfolio of 10 Master’s programs, and Director of Internship Placement Services at Cultural Vistas, where Martha established placement services that served 300 interns annually. Martha also held multiple leadership roles in international internship programs, demonstrating a strong track record in team management, process development, and client relations. Martha earned a BA in French and International Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
