Mike Wilson

Mike Wilson currently serves as the Director of IT/Security at Virtual Peaker, overseeing IT and security infrastructure and customizing solutions for the organization. Simultaneously, Mike is a Cyber Security Instructor at 2U, teaching cybersecurity concepts to a diverse student body. Previous experience includes roles such as Information Technology and Security Manager at CesiumAstro, where Mike drove compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 Level 2, and Senior Systems Administrator at Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin, where Mike designed classified information systems and managed security documentation. Additional experience encompasses positions at Mercantile Bank of Michigan, providing IT support and maintaining infrastructure. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religion/Japanese from Western Michigan University and has completed computer science coursework at Michigan Technological University.
