Neil Allison is an experienced economist and policy advisor, currently serving as an Instructor/Assessor in International Relations at 2U since February 2024. Previously, Neil held the position of Senior Economist at the Government Digital Service, leading the economic business case for the One Login digital transformation programme. Neil's earlier roles include significant contributions at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where Neil led economic assessments for Protected Landscapes policy and policy advising in the context of post-Brexit opportunities. Internationally, Neil has advised the Minister of Trade in Rwanda and worked with the Secretariat of the Pacific Community on economic development initiatives. Neil possesses a Master's degree in Development Economics from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Warwick.
