Edna Karanja

Edna Karanja is a seasoned Programme Manager at 2X Global, leading programmatic efforts under the Gender Equality Initiative since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Programme Associate and Senior Program Coordinator at the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), where Edna spearheaded the ANDE Gender Equality Initiative and managed a $700K matching grant facility to Private Equity Investment Funds in Kenya. Edna holds a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences & Psychology from the University of Nairobi, as well as a Certified Public Accountant qualification from Strathmore University. Additional experience includes a global fellowship with The Coaching Fellowship and project management with the Canadian Bar Association and United Nations Volunteers. An Ashoka Changemaker Scholar, Edna is dedicated to advancing gender equality in the business landscape.
