Saravanan Murugesu

Saravanan Murugesu is an experienced professional in information technology and project management, currently serving as the Global Head of Information Technology & Project Management Office at 2X since May 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing project governance and aligning IT initiatives with organizational strategies. Prior to this, Saravanan held various leadership roles, such as Head of Software Engineering at AirAsia, leading software solutions for multiple business operations, and Head of Software Engineering at PETRONAS Digital Sdn Bhd, focusing on software development activities. With a career spanning several notable companies including Software AG, Prestariang Berhad, and Accedo.tv, Saravanan has managed large-scale projects, delivered strategic solutions, and contributed significantly to project governance and stakeholder management. Saravanan holds a Master of Science in Computational Intelligence from the University of Plymouth and a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from the University of Staffordshire.
