Johan Heymans is a Managing Partner at VSAdvocaten, specializing in human rights and criminal law litigation since January 2014. In addition to this role, Johan serves as a Teaching Assistant at UAntwerpen and is a member of the Board of Directors for both Young FENIX and 3.LIFE, focusing on mental health discussion and personalized healthcare, respectively. Johan represents the Flemish Bar Association as a Legal Expert to the Human Rights Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe and is also involved with Fair Trials as a Legal Expert on the Legal Experts Advisory Panel. Additionally, Johan is a Board Member of Liga voor Mensenrechten and a Fellow in Belgium's 40 under 40 leadership initiative. Johan's academic background includes an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University and various law degrees from institutions such as Université catholique de Louvain and KU Leuven.

Additionally 3.LIFE is an active advisor with governments to optimise patient healthcare and affordability. Last but not least 3.LIFE is developing medical devices related to heart and diabetes diseases.
