Additionally, during a tenure at 1&1 Internet AG from October 2005 to October 2008, Matthias held the position of Vorstand Portal, and from 2000 to 2005, Matthias served as Vorstandsvorsitzender and CEO at WEB.DE AG. Matthias began a management career at Cinetic Medientechnik GmbH, serving as Geschäftsführer from 1983 to 2000.
