Nowshad Hussain has a diverse work experience in various roles. Nowshad started their career as a Student Advisor and Residential Desk Security at Stony Brook University from September 2012 to May 2015. Nowshad then worked as an English Instructor at Scholastic Prep from August 2015 to April 2016. Later, they joined Altice USA as a Level III Help Desk Analyst from April 2016 to July 2017. Nowshad then worked as a Desktop Support Specialist at NYU Winthrop Hospital from September 2017 to February 2018. From April 2018 to June 2019, they served as a Desktop Engineer at NYU Langone Health and then took on the role of a Clinical Desktop Engineer from June 2019 to January 2023. Currently, they are working as a Desktop Engineer at Building Service 32BJ Benefit Funds from January 2023.
Nowshad Hussain completed their high school education at Brooklyn Technical High School from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a High School Diploma with a field of study in Law & Society.
They then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature at Stony Brook University from 2011 to 2015.
In 2019, Nowshad Hussain furthered their education by enrolling in the Pace University - Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. They completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology - Cybersecurity from 2019 to 2021.
In terms of additional certifications, Nowshad obtained an A+ Certification from CompTIA in December 2015. Furthermore, in March 2023, they obtained a certification in Cybersecurity Foundations: Security Architecture from LinkedIn.
