Prabhav Tanay

Prabhav Tanay has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Prabhav started their career as an Online Intern at www.theresearchpedia.com in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Intern at the Indian Institute of Science, focusing on Computational Material Science. Prabhav then joined Futures First as a Derivatives Trader and Research Analyst, where they traded COMEX gold and monitored market fluctuations during global crises in 2014. Prabhav also served as an organizer at Startup Weekend and Co-Convener at Technex - Techno-Management Festival of IIT (BHU) in the same year.

In 2015, they worked as a Business Analytics Associate at ZS Associates. Prabhav cofounded HaloBee, where they developed backend systems, mobile apps, chatbots, and IoT products while also securing funding and managing multiple teams from 2016 to 2018.

From 2018 to 2021, Prabhav held roles at PayU as a Product Manager and later as a Senior Product Manager. Prabhav led the development of PayU's payout products and played a crucial role in building India's Financial CRM, handling features such as instant refunds, gaming rewards, salary disbursals, and domestic money transfers.

Most recently, Prabhav joined cure.fit (cult.fit) in 2021 as a Lead Product Manager, where they spearheaded the retention portfolio of Cult.fit. Prabhav successfully implemented initiatives such as Cult Social for Accountability, Cult Transform for Guidance, and Cult Progression for Motivation, resulting in significant increases in regularity, adherence, and renewals.

Prabhav Tanay completed their B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Campion School in Bhopal from 2006 to 2011, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science in high school.
