Derek DiMarzo, A.I.T

Derek DiMarzo, A.I.T has a strong background in environmental project technician roles. Derek started their career in 2016 as a Summer Student at Pigeon Lake Watershed Association, where they worked on the Clean Runoff Project and educated the public about best management practices. In 2017, they joined Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada as a Technician, assisting with research on native grass species and operating farm equipment. In 2018, they worked at both Newalta and Tervita Corporation as an Environmental Project Technician, gaining experience in managing environmental projects. In 2021, Derek joined SECURE ENERGY in the same role before transitioning to their current position as a Project Coordinator at 360 Energy Liability Management Ltd. Derek is responsible for coordinating projects and ensuring environmental compliance.

Derek DiMarzo, A.I.T pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science at Mount Royal University from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained certifications in ATV Training and UTV Training from the Canadian Safety Council.
