Derek Wilcox

Derek Wilcox has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. From 2019 onwards, they worked as a Project Environmental Technologist at 360 Energy Liability Management Ltd., where they conducted site visits, performed sampling, and utilized software such as QGIS and Trimble GPS. Prior to this, Derek worked as an Independent Contractor from 2015 to 2019, primarily as an Aircraft Structures Technician. In this role, they installed and repaired aircraft components, fabricated parts, and managed their own company. From 2017 to 2018, Derek worked as a Field Technician at Ecofitt Corp, installing energy efficient products and managing inventory. Derek started their career in 2004 at Kenn Borek Air Ltd as an Aircraft Structural Repair Professional, gaining experience in component installation, parts fabrication, and working in challenging environments.

Derek Wilcox pursued their education in the field of Environmental Science, with a diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2014 to 2016. Derek then continued their studies at Royal Roads University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Environmental Science from 2016 to 2017.
