Business Development Representative at 360 Energy Liability Management

Zac Cormier has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Zac started their career in 2011 as a Lipid Chemistry Technical Officer at the National Research Council Canada, where they worked on projects involving extraction and analysis of fatty acids from seaweeds and Astaxanthin from salmon plasma. In 2012, they joined Bureau Veritas Group as an Environmental Field Technician, conducting air sampling and testing across Alberta and neighboring provinces.

In 2013, Zac joined ALS Life Sciences as a Business Development Representative - Team Lead, managing a client list consisting of various industries such as oil and gas, water/wastewater, government, and environmental consulting/engineering firms. Zac later transitioned to the role of Business Development - Proposal Specialist, responsible for coordinating and preparing proposals for the Prairies region and leading national and international proposals.

In 2021, Zac joined Astute Environmental and Regulatory as a Business Development Lead. In this role, they worked alongside a team of remediation/reclamation, regulatory, and ESG professionals to expand the company's client base. Zac was responsible for lead generation, branding and marketing support, social media presence, CRM management, and conference attendance.

Currently, Zac is a Business Development Representative at 360 Energy Liability Management Ltd., a fast-growing engineering and environmental services company. Zac supports business development efforts across all service lines, including liability assessments, abandonment/decommissioning, environmental, and emissions monitoring.

Zac's work experience demonstrates their expertise in business development, proposal coordination, project management, and technical roles in the environmental and regulatory sectors.

Zac Cormier pursued their education in the field of Materials Chemistry. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Dalhousie University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Materials Chemistry. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, they furthered their studies at Dalhousie University and completed a Master's Degree in Materials Chemistry.
