Dean Young

Dean Young has over 30 years of work experience, with a strong background in financial analysis and consulting. Dean started their career as an Auditor at Starkman Kraft Rothnan Berger and Grill before moving on to roles as a Financial Analyst at Unitel and a Finance Manager at Honeywell. In 1998, they joined BMO Financial Group as a Sr Manager, Product Analytics, and then transitioned to Capital One in 2011 as their Senior Manager, Financial Analysis. Dean worked at Capital One for six years before becoming a Financial Consultant, where they undertook various financial analytics projects for companies such as Toronto Transit Corporation, Stantec Consulting, Intact Insurance, and MapArt. In 2020, they joined 360insights.com as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Dean Young has a CA CPA degree from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Dean also holds a CFA Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute. In addition, Dean Young has an MBA in Finance from the Schulich School of Business - York University. Prior to that, they obtained a BMath degree in IT/Chartered Accountancy from the University of Waterloo. Dean Young attended high school at Woburn Collegiate.
