Mark Horan

Mark is an experienced financial services executive who has spent more than twenty-five years growing businesses, managing assets, as well as raising and lending capital. He began his career with First Federal Savings and Loan of Rochester and Chase Manhattan in marketing roles growing residential mortgage portfolios. For 20 years, as a Senior Vice President with Merrill Lynch and UBS, he founded and led a 7-person institutional corporate services team that managed $2 billion in assets. His team specialized in managing corporate pension assets and providing structured credit solutions to middle-market companies. While with the UBS Private Wealth Management Group, Mark and his team provided investment and risk management services to some of the firm’s wealthiest clients, specializing in the management of alternative investment portfolios. From 2012 to 2014 he was President of Durham Capital Advisors providing private equity firms, family offices, and lower middle market companies business development, fundraising, and strategic advice. At Durham, he built relationships with approximately 40 family offices and facilitated several direct private equity transactions.
