Caryn Effron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and advisory roles. As the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of IDIF since December 2020, Caryn drives efforts to promote equitable capital allocation for underrepresented asset managers. Additionally, Caryn serves on the Board of Directors for Arbor Realty Trust and Code Nation, supporting real estate investments and coding education for students in under-resourced schools, respectively. As an Advisor and Angel Investor with 37 Angels, Caryn empowers women in investment. Previous experience includes a Managing Director position at Ackman-Ziff and co-founding Declare, an organization aimed at increasing diversity in the investment industry. Caryn's commitment to education and social change also extends to past board memberships with Say Yes to Education and Games for Change. Caryn earned an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
