Erica Mitchell

Erica Mitchell is a Development Engineer at 374Water since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in materials and process engineering. Prior roles include Materials Engineer at DuPont, where expertise included corrosion and wear research, incident investigations, and material selection for Tyvek®, Nomex®, and Kevlar® products. As an R&D Engineer at AdvanSix, Erica developed new manufacturing concepts and operated pilot reactor units, while a background in process engineering at Honeywell and BleachTech involved optimizing plant operations and mitigating process inefficiencies. Earlier experience includes analytical protocol development at ClearFarma, undergraduate research at ChemTreat, and an internship at Pfizer focusing on HPLC testing. Erica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Life Science Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.
