Fernando Olivares Lozano

Fernando Olivares Lozano has a diverse work experience in the field of iOS development and technical product management. Fernando started their career as an iOS Developer at Key Ingredient in 2010, where they maintained the code repository for their iOS application and managed the approval process on the app store. Fernando then joined Clevertech in 2013 as an iOS Developer, where they led a team in creating a new app from the ground up and transitioned the project to various mobile platforms.

In 2014, Fernando worked at Big Nerd Ranch as an iOS Instructor, teaching advanced courses and providing feedback on course materials. Fernando also joined Grsp as an iOS Developer, where they evaluated and proposed changes to the development process.

From 2014 to 2017, Fernando worked at Golden Frog, GmbH, first as a Senior iOS Developer and later as a Technical Product Manager. As a Senior iOS Developer, they led the transition to Swift and implemented a system for unit testing. As a Technical Product Manager, they leveraged their technical skills to provide a better understanding of the product roadmap and managed the initiative to move from free to trial versions.

Fernando continued their career at 1 Second Everyday in 2018 as a Technical Product Manager, where they created a unified roadmap for iOS and Android and implemented Scrum for multiple teams. Fernando then joined Lambda School as an iOS Instructor in 2019, remotely teaching the iOS curriculum and mentoring students.

Most recently, Fernando worked as a Senior iOS Developer at NetProtect from 2019 to 2021, contributing their skills to the development team. Fernando is currently employed as a Senior iOS Developer at 37signals, where they continue to excel in iOS development.

From 2005 to 2009, Fernando Olivares Lozano studied at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communication Technologies Engineering, with a specialization in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.
