Paul Darling OBE KC is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and construction law, currently serving as Kings Counsel at 39 Essex Chambers since August 2017, where involvement spans various forums globally as Counsel, Arbitrator, or Adjudicator. Additionally, since April 2020, Paul holds the position of Non-Executive Chairman at the Horserace Betting Levy Board, focusing on the funding and improvement of horse racing. As a Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple since October 2004, Paul is responsible for overseeing the Inn’s financial position, and has been the Chairman of Darling's Pharmacy, a family business with four locations, since August 1995. Prior legal experience includes serving as Queens Counsel at Keating Chambers from December 1984 to July 2017. Paul obtained a Law degree from the University of Oxford between 1978 and 1982, following earlier education at Winchester College and Tonstall School Sunderland.
