Ricky Groner

Ricky Groner is a software developer and web developer currently employed at 3C Institute. Ricky has a wealth of experience in React, Redux, MaterialUI, Node, GraphQL (Apollo, AWS Appsync), and Git. Their previous work at Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences saw him develop and maintain a React single-page application for the genomics core facility, which assists in the preparation for sequencing of genetic samples for research groups across the university. Ricky also provided custom software consulting services to various administrative units and instrumentation facilities. In their current role, Ricky is responsible for design, code, test, debug, install, implement, modify and support new and existing applications as well as maintaining familiarity with installed software standards and procedures and evaluating other tools to determine the appropriate fit into the application development environment. Additionally, they participate in project planning sessions and offers advice on best-practices.

Ricky Groner earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State University. Ricky also holds certification from CompTIA in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+.
