Serra Goren started their work experience in 2006 as a Management Intern at China Grill Management. In 2007, they worked as a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, where they headed the room service division and developed amenity programs. In 2008, Serra joined 3D International LLC as the Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for brand development, new product development, corporate client relationships, and sales. Serra also played a key role in restructuring the company procedures and implementing green and sustainable practices. Additionally, Serra launched 3D's first consumer retail car care brand and led the opening of their European headquarters in Turkey. In 2018, they became the Chief Executive Officer of 3D Abrasives LLC.

Serra Goren began their education in 1999 at Webb and completed their high school education in 2003. Serra then attended the University of Arizona from 2003 to 2004 but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. In 2004, Serra enrolled in Cornell University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in the School of Hotel Administration. Serra graduated from Cornell in 2007 with a concentration in Law. In 2004, they also obtained a Certificate in Italian Language from Clidante: Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Aligheri. In 2005, Serra attended The Culinary Institute of America for a brief period, focusing on Baking and Pastry Skills. In 2017, Serra obtained the Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
