Brennen Irey

Application Engineer at 3D Infotech, Inc.

Brennen Irey began their work experience in 2016 as a JPL SpaceSHIP Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. During this time, they contributed to cost savings by creating 3D models of custom tools for the Mars 2020 mission and performed non-destructive testing on sample containers for use in space. In 2019, Brennen took on the role of Metaverse Engineer at SwiftEyes Innovation Inc. Brennen designed and developed 3D assets for virtual environments, conducted testing on software integration, and provided business consulting advice. In the same year, they also worked as a Facilities Management Student Assistant at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they managed the Moving and Surplus department, oversaw daily workflows, and addressed complex problems. Currently, Brennen is working as an Application Engineer at 3D Infotech, Inc.

Brennen Irey graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In September 2021, Brennen obtained the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. Additionally, in August 2021, Brennen received the Certified Solidworks Professional in Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes.
