Damien Gray

Damien Gray is a seasoned expert in laser technology and 3D printing, currently serving as Principal Laser Control Scientist at 3D Systems Corporation since July 2022. Previously, Damien held roles as Principal Laser Optical Engineer at EOS and Vulcan Labs, where the focus was on designing and implementing advanced laser and optical systems for enhancing 3D printing capabilities. Additional experience includes the development of custom laser hardware at Stratasys and software engineering at National Instruments, where applications in LabVIEW were created. Early career achievements encompass the design of beam delivery systems for CO2 lasers at DTM Corporation and optically based medical instrumentation at Hewlett-Packard Labs. Damien holds a PhD in Physics from Rice University and a BA in Physics from Tulane University, complemented by a distinguished high school diploma from Subiaco Academy.
