Marta Wierzbicka Verby possesses extensive experience in laboratory operations, currently serving as Director of Laboratory Operations at Deep Genomics since December 2017, with previous roles including Associate Director, Senior Laboratory Manager, and Laboratory Manager. Prior to this, Marta worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto as Research Technician III, focusing on high-throughput interaction mapping in *S. cerevisiae* and edgotyping in cancer gene networks. Marta's research expertise includes advanced molecular techniques such as next-generation sequencing and complex mutagenesis approaches, alongside a strong background in research protocol optimization and team supervision. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry and Biology from Ryerson University, complemented by a Small Business Accounting Certificate from Fleming College.
