Joe Wisnewski is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in firmware and software development. Currently serving as Vice President of Firmware and Software at 3D Systems since February 2013, following the acquisition of Geomagic, Joe has also held the position of Director of Haptic Engineering at Geomagic since April 2012. Previous roles include VP of Software Engineering at SensAble Technologies, Inc., and VP Engineering at Availant, among others. Joe's career spans over three decades, with significant leadership roles in engineering at various technology companies including Avid Technology and Wildfire Communications, Inc. Joe holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
