Jussi Kajala's work experience begins in 2007 as a Graduate Researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where they conducted research in material physics and published five papers in international journals. Jussi also worked as a Teaching Assistant, receiving excellent feedback from students and winning an award for excellent teaching in 2010.
In 2011, Jussi joined Spinverse Consulting as an Analyst, where they developed service design and customer experience and was responsible for advisory in technology commercialization, particularly in 3D printing. Jussi also managed the industrial, political, and scientific content of various conferences and built extensive European networks.
In 2014, Jussi became a Senior Adviser at Tekes, representing the organization in the national 3D printing development program Admani. Jussi was responsible for strategy development, led an in-house analytics team, and advised Finnish and international startups in business development and funding. Jussi received the Tekes Employee of the Year prize in 2015.
Since 2016, Jussi has been involved with 3DBear, initially as the Chief Operating Officer, Co-Founder, and Chairman of the Board. The company provides digital solutions for creativity using augmented reality, aiming to revolutionize learning with virtual reality and augmented reality at home and in schools. Jussi then took on the role of Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder in April 2021, leading the development of virtual learning environments and providing teachers with tools for teaching hands-on and artistic skills remotely.

Jussi Kajala began their education at Juankosken yläaste from 1997 to 1999. Jussi then attended Kuopion Lyseon lukio from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained their International Baccalaureate diploma. Continuing their education, Jussi attended the University of Cambridge from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Natural Sciences (M.Sci.) degree in Physics. Jussi then pursued further studies at Aalto University from 2007 to 2011, obtaining a Doctor of Science in Technology (D.Sc.) degree in Physics. In terms of additional certifications, Jussi became a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert in 2020-2021, having completed the program at Microsoft in September 2020.
