Pekka Salokannel

Pekka Salokannel has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and roles. Pekka started their career as a Designer at Golla Oy, where they designed carrying solutions for portable electronics. Pekka then worked as a FOCTalent at freedom of creation, focusing on design with 3D printing technologies. At Tinkercad, Pekka worked as a Technical Artist, creating content for curriculum and marketing. Pekka also gained experience as an Eyewear & jewelry designer at Colors of Birch, exhibiting at prestigious fashion shows. Pekka went on to co-found Kokosom Eyewear, where they combined design, functionality, and technology to create unique and disruptive eyewear. Most recently, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at 3DBear, an augmented reality app for entertainment and education.

Pekka Salokannel earned a Bachelor's degree from the Institute of Design Lahti from 2003 to 2008, with a focus on Industrial Design. Pekka also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Industrial and Product Design during the same period from the same institution.
