Selma-Penna Utonih (Jr.) currently serves as the Policy Manager for European Environmental Markets at 3Degrees Group, Inc., focusing on regulatory and market developments influencing corporate sustainability strategies in renewable energy and environmental commodities. Previously, Selma-Penna worked as a Renewable Energy Analyst at Greenfact, where analysis of Green certificate markets and monitoring of policy changes in Europe were primary responsibilities. An earlier role as Energy Trader at NamPower involved forecasting Namibia's energy demand and collaborating on resource optimization. Earlier experiences include a research internship at Orkuveita Reykjavíkur, where an Economic Assessment Model for a CO2 sequestration project was developed, and an Environmental Engineering Internship at the Ministry of Mines and Energy, contributing to waste management research. Selma-Penna holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering from Reykjavik University and a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing.
