Amel Karoui is an AI Engineer at 3DISC since January 2024, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Inria from December 2021 to November 2023, focusing on the detection of premature ventricular contraction foci using deep learning. Amel completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Université de Bordeaux between September 2017 and March 2021, concentrating on numerical methods for solving the inverse problem of electrocardiography, a topic also explored during a graduation project internship at Inria in 2017. Additional experience includes an engineering internship at I2E's EPPM Group in 2016, where the numerical study of drop coalescence was conducted, as well as a summer internship at the Aviation Training Center of Tunisia in 2015. Amel holds an Engineer's degree in Modeling and Scientific Computing from Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tunis (2014-2017) and a Baccalaureate diploma in Mathematics from the High School of Nabeul, Tunisia (2008-2012).
