Arnob Banik

Arnob Banik, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Research Engineer at 3M, focusing on modeling, simulation, and machine learning for product and process development. Prior experience includes teaching undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering at The University of Akron while also conducting research on bio-inspired tire design. Banik has held leadership roles in the Graduate Student Government, managing welfare initiatives for graduate students, and worked as an intern at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where simulations were conducted to predict tire characteristics. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron and an undergraduate degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
