Bjorn Melin

Bjorn Melin is a Senior Data Scientist at 3M, working in the Corporate Research Analytical Laboratory since September 2020. Melin has a strong background in data science and engineering, having previously held roles as an Advanced Data Scientist, Advanced Data Engineer, and Software Engineer at 3M, where significant projects included the development of a digital solution for instrument assessment impacting $750M in revenue and the implementation of cloud infrastructure for data sharing with the University of Chicago. Prior experience includes software development at C-TEQ Data Consultants and research roles at Augsburg University, where Melin focused on IoT and AI projects. Melin holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Augsburg University.
