Howard Weatherspoon, PhD, is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they also earned a Master of Science in the same field. Previously, they held a Senior Product Development Engineer position at 3M from 2025 to 2023 and worked as a Summer Research Fellow at the Chemistry at the Space Time Limit Center, where they successfully presented their research at national conferences. Howard completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Albany State University in 2019, and they are an alum of both the Alfred P. Sloan and GEM programs.
