Katie Walton is currently the Director and Assistant General Counsel in Environmental - Enterprise Risk Management at 3M. They have a robust background in environmental litigation and compliance, advising clients on potential liabilities in real estate and M&A transactions. Previously, Katie worked as a partner in the Environmental Group at Schiff Hardin LLP and ArentFox Schiff, and as a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins and GoodSmith Gregg & Unruh LLP. They began their legal career as an attorney with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Katie obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
