Matt Volkmann

Matt Volkmann is a Senior Machine Design Engineer at 3M and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Previously, they contributed to various engineering projects, including serving as an Aerodynamics and Structures Group Member in the University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project and holding intern positions at C-Axis, Graco, and the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center. As Membership Director for ASME, they enhanced member engagement and improved communications among active members. Their experience includes developing innovative designs and increasing manufacturing efficiency through collaboration and technical expertise.
