Qihua Chen

Qihua Chen is a Senior Research Engineer at 3M, having transitioned into this role after completing a Summer R&D Internship with the company in 2022. Previously, Qihua interned at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and contributed to projects at Northwestern University, where they earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. Qihua's research has focused on molecular dynamics simulations and the viscoelastic properties of materials, reflecting a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of material science. They also possess a bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
