Ruben Velasquez

Ruben Velasquez is currently the VP of Global Finance for the Consumer Business Group at 3M. Prior to this, they were the CFO for 3M Russia from October 2006 to July 2013. Before their time at 3M, Ruben was the CFO for Ecopetrol from February 2003 to October 2006.

Ruben Velasquez has an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in Management & Strategy, Finance, and Managerial Accounting. Ruben also has a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes. Ruben has also completed executive education certification programs from Kellogg Executive Education in Corporate Financial Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value and Creating a Culture of Innovation, as well as a certification program from Loyds of London in Energy Insurance.

They are on a team with Nicole Dahl - SVP of Operations, Consumer Business Group, Silvia M. Perez Cassarino - President & GM, Commercial Solutions, and Jessica Huang - Lead Brand Designer, Consumer Business Group. Their manager is Jeffrey R.
