Mika Virtanen

Mika Virtanen is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Head of IT at 3PBIOVIAN since February 2024, following the merger of Biovian and 3P Biopharmaceuticals, Mika was also Head of IT at Biovian earlier in 2024, overseeing comprehensive IT functions and cybersecurity strategies. Prior to these roles, Mika held significant positions at Lowell as Group Head of IT Service Delivery and IT Service Delivery Manager, leading IT services for over 4,000 users across multiple regions. Mika's career includes vital contributions at Lindorff Oy in various IT management roles, as well as entrepreneurial ventures in IT consulting and development. Education includes a Master of Science in Global IT Management from the University of Turku and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information System Design from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
