Maxim K.

Maxim K. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2017 when they were a Consulting Associate at EY. During their time there, they delivered presentations of their analysis of the top 100 Russian corporations to senior management, identified opportunities for investment in Russian companies and summarized and visualized business data using dynamic charts.

In 2018, Maxim K. volunteered at School 1071, leading a 7-person team in planning, budgeting and building a new football pitch for the school, and organized and refereed intramural sports activities for underclassmen. Maxim also completed a trading course at Amplify Trading, applying technical concepts in a controlled trading environment and learning how to build risk-managed, diversified portfolios using Markowitz portfolio theory. Additionally, they were a Research Scholar at the University of Bath, creating a novel approach to advance the knowledge on the effect of targeted online advertising on electoral behaviour in the 2020 US presidential election and developing an ability to engage with large datasets and establish causal relationships by running multiple regression models.

In 2021, Maxim K. was a Private Equity/M&A analyst at Bayes M&A and PE Society, where they analysed BlackRock's acquisition of QTS in the leveraged buyout deal, learning to perform LBO modelling in Excel and presenting data coherently.

Finally, Maxim K. is currently employed at 3S Money and Piqi.me, both starting in 2022. At 3S Money, they are a Business Developer, connecting corporates to their customers globally by providing them with local business accounts to send and receive funds through all major payment rails. At Piqi.me, they are a Business Consultant, conducting an e-commerce fashion industry outlook, increasing the brand's user base via survey dispersion and networking, and participating in business development. Maxim is also a Management Consultant at ARCADIA, where they identified opportunities for a £2 million philanthropic investment to support the new strategic direction of the charity and created a workable tool for finding cities deprived of urban green space and funding.

Maxim K. has an extensive educational background. Maxim obtained their IGCSEs from Sherborne International College in 2016, followed by their A-levels from Hurtwood House in 2018. Maxim then received their Politics with Economics degree from the University of Bath in 2021. Maxim K. is currently pursuing their Master's degree in Management at Bayes Business School. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications from Coursera: Stock Valuation with Comparable Companies Analysis (2021), Excel Skills for Business: Intermediate I (2020), and Excel Skills for Business: Essentials (2020).
