Ian Witherspoon

Ian Witherspoon is a Test and Inspection Engineer at 3sun Group, with a background in ensuring compliance with inspection and certification standards for offshore wind turbines and onshore pre-assembly turbines since March 2016. Prior to this role, Ian served as an Offshore Test and Inspection Engineer at CERTEX (UK) from July 2013 to June 2015, where responsibilities included thorough examinations of lifting equipment to meet regulatory requirements. Ian's career began at Mashhor Offshore Painting Services as an Offshore Inspector from January 2012 to July 2013, developing expertise in wind turbine maintenance, mechanical techniques, and safety regulations. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Studies from the University of Wolverhampton, completed in 2003.
