Thomas Kong

Thomas Kong has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas started their career as an Advisory Systems Engineer at Bank of America, where they focused on quality assurance and data security. Thomas then moved to Reader's Digest Association Far East Ltd, where they served as a System Manager, overseeing system development in the Far East countries. Thomas later worked as a DP Director at The Pinnacle Publishers Limited, where they devised DP implementation strategies and managed the DP department.

In their role as a Contracted Consultant at The Cadman Group, Thomas worked on Y2K projects and provided project planning and implementation support. Thomas also served as a Project Manager at TradeLink Hong Kong for a short period of time.

Thomas then moved to Computer Associates International Ltd, where they held the position of Project Director/Business Development Manager. Thomas managed a multi-million-dollar nationwide infrastructure project for the China Ministry of Railway and implemented various IT solutions.

After their time at Computer Associates, Thomas served as the Chief Technical Officer at Blue Stroke Asia PTE LTD, where they provided strategic advice on IT solution implementation, managed a technical team, and oversaw development projects.

Thomas then transitioned to Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, where they held the role of Director of the International Project Management Department (IPMD), focusing on international project management.

Finally, Thomas worked as the Managing Director at Pinnacle Technology Investment Company Limited, and most recently, they have been the Director of Sales and Marketing at 3Tech Corporate.

Thomas Kong attended the University of Alberta from 1971 to 1977, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science.
