Shuwendly Sophia is an accomplished marketing communication manager with extensive experience in brand development, social media management, and community engagement. Since January 2020, Shuwendly has worked at 3X3UNITES, leading creative initiatives, including the successful launch of the 3X3NEXT Platform to enhance youth interaction. In addition, Shuwendly founded Souroboros Media, offering communication and branding consultancy for the sports, lifestyle, and fashion sectors. Previous roles include marketing communication manager at BC Amsterdam Warriors, where Shuwendly improved communication strategies and organized community events, as well as internships at Stryker and Carver, focusing on market research and event coordination. Shuwendly holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Amsterdam School of International Business and has also studied at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

3X3 UNITES
3X3 basketball is a very fast growing Olympic sport, in which the Netherlands is taking the lead. 3X3 UNITES community envision people that combine hard work and passion to bring this popular sport to the next level, started in the Netherlands and developing at a global level - “From the streets to the Olympics!”. 3X3 basketball is unique because players have more ownership over the process and thus the sport, which means players are taking more responsibility, being more adaptable and making own decisions. By developing talent, educating youth, organising next level events and contributing to developmental cooperation projects worldwide, 3X3 UNITES lifts the sport in all its forms to a higher level. Assisting where it’s needed and taking responsibility where it’s possible, all to provide 3x3 basketball with the sustainable platform it deserves. 3X3 UNITES achieves this through strong partnerships and a tight 3X3-community. Our partners are widely represented by cooperating organizations from the business side, government (ex. municipalities, provinces, national governments), international educational and non-profit partners (ex. International Sport Alliance, University of Cologne) and of course basketball organizations (ex. FIBA, National Federations and clubs). Skills which are applicable on the court, but also apply to day to day life off the court. These diverse life skills are what 3X3 UNITES instils in its participants.
