Emanuel Maiberg

Emanuel Maiberg is a seasoned journalist and co-founder of 404 Media since August 2023. Previously, Emanuel held multiple editorial roles at Motherboard/VICE Media from November 2015 to August 2023, including Executive Editor, Managing Editor, News Editor, and Weekend Editor. Experience includes serving as a Contributing Editor for IDG World Expo, where nearly 100 product descriptions were written for E3Insider.com, and a Freelance Writer since 2004, with publications in notable outlets such as The Atlantic and Mashable. Additional roles include Editorial Assistant at Inside Network, Writer for IntelIQ x Kill Screen, and Foreign Correspondent for Maariv, contributing various news stories and editorial pieces. Emanuel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Literature from California College of the Arts, completed in 2011.
