Christina Basil

Christina Basil is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in government relations and media. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications & Government Relations at 407 ETR since April 2019, Christina has held various roles including Director and Communications Manager at the same company. Prior to this, Christina worked at Toronto Hydro from June 2011 to March 2019, taking on positions such as Media Relations Specialist and Communications Specialist. Christina also has experience as a Corporate Communications Coordinator at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and as a Content Coordinator at Toronto Hydro. Christina began a career in media with CTV as a Connected Cruiser in 2006. Christina's educational background includes a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University and certificates in Corporate Communications from Seneca Polytechnic, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College.
