Greg Austin has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Greg started their career in 2012 as a Sous Chef at Flying Biscotti LLC, where they also worked in the catering wing that eventually became the 'Black Radish' Catering Company. Greg then moved on to work as a Chef at 51st Street, LLC from April 2016 to January 2019. In 2019, Greg became the Executive Sous Chef at TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville until February 2020. Currently, they are employed at 412 Food Rescue, where they started in May 2020 as a Project Manager for the Good Food Project and is currently serving as the Director of Distribution Initiatives.
Greg Austin attended the Community College of Allegheny County from 2022 to 2024, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, they studied Fine and Studio Arts at Penn State University, although they did not obtain a degree.
