Jacob Tepperman

Jacob Tepperman has a diverse work experience. Jacob worked as a Program Manager - Food Recovery at 412 Food Rescue, where they played a crucial role in developing and implementing emergency logistics and food home delivery programs during the Covid-19 response. Jacob was responsible for maintaining and improving relationships with retail donors and ensuring successful donations. Prior to this, Jacob was a Food Recovery Coordinator at the same company, where they coordinated logistics for equitable food distribution to nonprofit recipients.

Jacob also founded Tarps For The Homeless, a project aimed at providing temporary shelters to people experiencing homelessness in an effort to end the social stigma associated with homelessness.

Jacob worked as an Operations Coordinator at Underdogs United, where they oversaw operations from May 2018 to June 2019.

Before that, Jacob had a career in DICK'S Sporting Goods, where they held various roles, including Associate Inventory Planner, Assistant Inventory Planner for football and lacrosse, and Assistant Inventory Planner for men's outdoor apparel. In these roles, they managed inventory, developed allocation strategies, and ensured the right products were in stores at the right time.

Jacob also volunteered at East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM), where they mentored clients to help them regain skills and achieve self-sufficiency. Jacob supported clients in finding employment and achieving their short and long-term goals.

During their time as a student at Indiana University, Jacob was involved in several activities such as serving on the Public Relations Committee for Indiana University Dance Marathon and working as an Athletic Specialist at Camp Tel Yehudah. Additionally, they had an internship as an Operations Supervisor Intern at Exel, where they received training in various departments within a distribution center.

Furthermore, Jacob worked as a Recruiting Analyst at Code Red Safety, where they compiled and organized a list of specialty contractors. Jacob was also a Volunteer at Indiana University Dance Marathon.

Jacob Tepperman attended Munster High School from 2006 to 2009. Jacob then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management and International Business from Indiana University Bloomington, graduating in 2013.
