John Jenkins

COO at 42 Real Estate

John has more than thirty five years of commercial real estate experience building organizations while developing and implementing investment strategies on a national scale. Prior to joining 42 Real Estate, John co-founded and was a partner at Mayfield Properties. From 2010 – 2018 Mayfield successfully executed a strategy of acquiring and harvesting value from 8 million square feet of industrial real estate in the southwest and southeastern United States. John was engaged in all phases of the investment cycle and was directly responsible for capitalizing the investments and maintaining lender and equity partner relationships. John began his career in public accounting and in 1983 began working in commercial real estate. After working for several local developers John joined Trammell Crow Ventures and was responsible for a $1 billion portfolio as a Portfolio and Regional Manager. After Trammell Crow, John spent 15 years as a Partner at Macfarlan Capital Partners and President of Macfarlan Real Estate Services. John structured and played a key role in more than $1 billion in transactions with both institutional and high net worth partners at Macfarlan.

John has been married to Alecia for 38 years and loves to travel with their three children and other friends and family. John has served on the boards of The Momentous Institute, Salesmanship Club of Dallas, The Hope Center, Cambridge School of Dallas and has leadership roles with the ATT Byron Nelson Golf Tournament while also serving as Lay Leader of University Park United Methodist Church. Teaching, golf and skiing are some of John’s favorite things to do.
