Jaeyeon (Jeremy) J. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Jaeyeon (Jeremy) started their career with GE Lighting in 2010 as an APAC Product Manager, where they played a key role in developing and driving sales activities and marketing for new products. In 2014, they joined GE Transportation as a Regional Sales Manager, representing the locomotive business in Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines. During their tenure, they actively engaged with government bodies and media to acquire support for the purchase funding of Korea Railroad's diesel locomotives. Jaeyeon (Jeremy) also established a digital factory tour program and built strong relationships with key technology influencers.
In 2019, Jaeyeon joined WeWork as an Enterprise Account Executive, focusing on developing sales strategies and forming meaningful relationships with government and Fortune 500 accounts. Jaeyeon (Jeremy) successfully developed a startup subsidiary program with the Busan Metropolitan Government, which became the single largest deal in WeWork Korea's history. Jaeyeon (Jeremy) also owned the overall operational customer service experience throughout the user lifecycle.
In 2020, Jaeyeon joined Iron Mountain as the Head of Sales, where they managed overall sales strategies and activities for the company's South Korea operations. Jaeyeon (Jeremy) successfully led the sales team to win a government tender and received recognition from the APAC leadership team.
In 2021, Jaeyeon joined Sampyo Railway as a Team Lead - Overseas Business, responsible for developing the growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures for new overseas market entry. Jaeyeon (Jeremy) also worked closely with the Embassy in Korea, Chamber of Commerce, and KOTRA to establish a supportive business environment.
Currently, Jaeyeon works at 42dot as a Business Development Manager, analyzing new geographies, applications, and business models for autonomous mobility services. Jaeyeon (Jeremy) is responsible for implementing new market entry strategies and refining proposals with governmental bodies to close deals.
Jaeyeon (Jeremy) J. completed high school at the Korean Minjok Leadership Academy from 2000 to 2002. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Peking University from 2005 to 2009, with a focus on the field of study in Business.
