Qinling Zheng

Qinling (Jasmine) Zheng is a Staff Control Engineer at 42dot, with a career spanning over a decade in control engineering across various sectors. Prior to joining 42dot in September 2025, Zheng served as a Senior Controls Engineer at Zoox, where major contributions included developing HVAC and thermal management systems for electric and autonomous vehicles. Experience also includes enhancing power consumption efficiency and thermal regulation during a tenure as Senior Control & Algorithms Engineer at Samsung Electronics America. Zheng has held leadership positions in academic conferences and researched advanced control methods at Cleveland State University, culminating in a Doctorate in Engineering. A strong foundation in engineering was established with a Bachelor’s degree from Beijing Technology and Business University and a Master’s degree from Cleveland State University.
