Nicolas Pelissier has a diverse work experience in the energy industry, starting in 2005. Nicolas began as a Junior Exploration Geologist at Total S.A. in Pau, France, and later worked as a Junior Exploration Geologist in Stavanger, Norway, and Paris, France.
In 2007, Nicolas joined Total S.A. again as a Junior Exploration Geologist in Paris, France, and later took on roles as a Junior Reservoir Geologist and Operations Geologist/Well Site Geologist in various locations including Mauritania, Yemen, Norway, the UK, and the Netherlands.
From 2010 to 2011, Nicolas served as the Head of Subsurface in Hassi-Messaoud, Algeria, and later worked as a Log Analyst in Paris, France.
In 2012, Nicolas joined Mabruk Oil Operations in Tripoli, Libya, as the Head of Operations Geology and Petrophysics. Nicolas was responsible for the development of NOC-Total assets and the management of fractured carbonate fields.
Nicolas then returned to Total as a Project Manager/Senior Exploration Analyst in Paris, France, from 2013 to 2015. Nicolas monitored and followed up on exploration competitors' activity, conducted exploration performance/strategy benchmarking, and participated in various meetings and projects.
In 2016, Nicolas co-founded Vindiou, a business venture with childhood friends. The following year, they co-founded and became the President of 45-8 Energy, the first start-up dedicated to helium exploration in Europe. The company aimed to supply an eco-friendly helium to the European market and reduce dependence on overseas imports.

Nicolas PELISSIER completed their Master's degree in Petroleum Geosciences from IFP School, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Geology from UniLaSalle, which they completed from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, Nicolas obtained certification in "Create and Develop a technological start-up" from École Polytechnique in January 2017.
