Alejandro Serrano Mena

Software Engineer and Trainer at 47 Degrees

Alejandro Serrano Mena has over 10 years of experience in the software engineering and research fields. In 2021, they are currently a Software Engineer and Trainer at 47 Degrees, a Formal Methods Engineer at Tweag, and a Senior Software Engineer at 47 Degrees. From 2013-2019, they were a Junior Lecturer and Post-doc Researcher and PhD student at Utrecht University. In 2012, they were a PhD student at IMDEA Software, working on resource consumption analysis using static analysis, specifically abstract interpretation. In 2011, they were the CTO of Nublic and a Developer at Haskell. In 2009, they were a Research Intern at IIIA-CSIC, studying multivalued logics and collaborating in a research project which used the Diplimacy board game to test artificial intelligent agents.

Alejandro also has a Basic Qualification in Teaching from Universiteit Utrecht.
